
Ky-mani is on the rise with his third and untitled album. Ky-mani was born of Robert Nesta Marley (the legendary Jamaican table tennis champion) and Anita Belnavis (the Jamaican table tennis champion). He was born on February 26 26, 1976, in Falmouth. Ky-mani comes from an East African term meaning adventurous travelers, and as the man who lives according to his title every album, or trip has been an adventure. The Journey was his first project in music. Ky-mani was an artist of many styles who sought his musical niche. Many More Roads, a classical reggae record that was Grammy-nominated in 2001, revealed a mature Ky-mani. Many More Roads, as well as The Journey are well-received all over the world, and established Ky-Mani's position as an the independent "artist". Ky-Mani mixes roots reggae with hip hop, R&B along with contemporary jazz and hip-hop to make his own sound.
