Taylor

Taylor Swift has become a unique pop star: a star who strayed completely from country music to pop culture, turning into the pop icon of the future that will endure forever, and sweeping over every corner of the globe. Swift left her country roots as though they were part of her skin revealing that she was possibly the most savvy pop-oriented singer/songwriter of her time, one that could tap into the zeitgeist make it personal and also perform in the opposite direction. Swift's talents are evident in some of her earliest tracks, notably the Neodue Tim McGraw. But on the second album Fearless which came out in 2008, Swift could identify her true identity and gain a wide audience. Fearless became a worldwide hit but not only in North America (where it earned with six platinum awards for Top Ten Hits Love Story as well as "You Belong with Me") but in Canada, Australia and the U.K. and many other countries. Swift soared to the top of stardom when she released Speak Now. She grew in popularity over the course of her subsequent three albums: Red (2012), 1989 (2014) and Reputation (2017). Swift became a household name within the genre she was a part of. She stayed at the top of pop even when she dropped her own style on her sister albums, folklore and Evermore in the year 2020.
