Nicky Whelan
Nicky Whelan (born 10 May 1981) is an Australian model and actress. In Australia she became famous for her role in the character Pepper Steiger in Neighbors, a soap opera which ran for 100 episodes between 2006-2007. Her arrival in Hollywood by way of two different projects: first with the choral comedy Hollywood & Wine in which she portrayed an actress who is coming to Hollywood. Then she was offered a part in the role of Maya an attractive and very attractive medical student in Scrubs in the 9th season. The series was suddenly halted. In the following months, she continued to shoot an episode of the Farrelly brothers ' comedy titled Good to Shoot, which starred the Jason Sudeikis Owen Wilson tandem. Thereafter she appeared on small-scale series and B series movies. It was in 2013 that she began being noticed more widely. After appearing in six episodes on the detective drama Franklin and Bash and landing her first role as a regular in the web-series Chosen with Milo Ventimiglia, the actress has been offered several projects. The first two seasons, she was Chad Michael Murray's reply to both seasons. In the following seasons, she was in supporting roles in both feature films that focused on airplanes. The first one was a TV film for SyFy's Flight 7500, featuring actors from television shows. The other one is Le Chaos with Nicolas Cage. The role she plays is that of a flight assistant. Above all, she as well as Gabriel Luna share the poster for Matador, a brand new television show. This thriller show where characters play CIA agents and produced with director Robert Rodriguez however does not surpass a full season of 13 episodes. She then continues to work with a pilot that doesn't go as planned. The concept to promote Borrowed Moments, a B series romance, was seen by Brian Krause in 2015. She then appeared on the set of the comedy Witness for Rent which featured Kevin Hart Josh Gad Kad Cuoco. The experimental Knight of Cups, directed by Terrence malick, was also sold out to a wide audience. She also appears in five episodes from the Satisfaction series.
